Are you ready to administer your exam? After Exam Administrators (Proctors) have learned about Exams from Home, gone through the user training, and scheduled your session, use this list to prepare for exam day by reviewing these important items.

Have you reviewed the pages, videos, and guides? It is important to review the web pages, the video summaries, as well as the detailed PDF guides in order to understand how the Exams from Home solution works from end-to-end. It will also teach you or your Test Candidate ways to solve any potential issues. We also recommend that Exam Administrators (Proctors) also review the training materials for the Test Candidate so you better understand what they will need to know prior to testing.
Have you scheduled your session yet? Ensure that you have scheduled and verified your session times, and that you are aware of when each of your Test Candidates are scheduled to take their exam.
Ensure the Test Candidate knows the program and exact exam names they are registered to take (e.g. Microsoft Office Specialist MOS Excel 2016).
There are different options for the Test Candidate to switch between the Autodesk application and the exam window depending on whether they are taking ACU or ACP exams and what type of machine they are using:
Autodesk Certified User (ACU) in English:
When taking ACU exams in English (ENU), you may use the icons on the toolbar located on the far-right side of the page to navigate quickly between Compass and the ACU application. You may also still use the traditional keystrokes as described in the ACP section. Please review the tutorial for detailed information on the new toolbar.
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP):
When taking ACP exams in any language, or ACU exams outside of English, "Alt+Tab" will not work to switch between the exam and the application. There are different keystrokes that you will need to use depending on what type of computer you are using:
Has the Test Candidate reviewed the exam tutorial? The exam tutorial is a set of instructions on how to navigate through the exam that appears prior to the exam timer when sitting for a live exam. Certiport has the tutorials for all of our exams posted in PDF or video format on our site so they can be reviewed offline, prior to a live exam session. This will let the candidate skip through the live exam tutorial during their actual session in order to save time.
Are your Test Candidates part of an Exam Group? Ensure that your Test Candidates know the correct name/number of the group prior to testing. After logging in to Compass, a slider switch will appear that the Test Candidate can turn "on" to indicate they are part of an Exam Group. Doing so will allow them to select the Exam Group from the dropdown, or manually enter the name. If Exam Groups are not being used, the slider switch can be left in the "off" position.
Both the Exam Administrator (Proctor) and the Test Candidate should verify they know their current username and password and validate they are correct by logging in at www.certiport.com. Once logged in, check that it is the correct profile they wish to use for an Exams from Home session:
