Exam retirements

The CC 2015 exams will be retired from Exams from Home at the end of December 2020 due to the end of life for Flash. The CC 2015 exams will continue to be available for on-premise testing until the end of June 2021, but test centers may want to switch to a newer version of the exams because of the end of life for Flash.

 

All sales of Certiport’s Autodesk Certified Professional exams will stop after December 2020. The exams will be retired after December 2021.

For information about the Autodesk Certified Professional exams available through Pearson VUE’s test center network, please refer to the Autodesk website.

The 2018 support files for the Autodesk software have been discontinued for English. Once the 2021 support is released for other languages an Autodesk exam the candidate will only be able to take the exam using the 2019, 2020 or 2021 versions of the Autodesk Software. Please check the product release page for localization release dates.
 
New 50-minute versions of the Maya and 3ds Max exams replaced the current 75-minute versions of the exams at the end of June 2020. The new Maya exam supports software versions 2018, 2019, and 2020. The new 3ds Max exam supports software versions 2019, 2020, and 2021.
 

No retirements are planned for this product at this time.

With the end of life of the Adobe Flash Player on December 31, 2020, the following exams will retire on June 30^th, 2021:

With the retirement of the Online Test Delivery System on December 31, 2017, the following exams are no longer available through the Online Test Delivery System. The exams will continue to be available through Compass.

• IC3 GS5: Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications, Living Online
• IC3 Spark

February 2020

Certiport retired the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User 2017, and the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Online – Global Version on June 30th 2020. All candidates wishing to certify on the Intuit QuickBooks Desktop software will need to use the new QuickBooks Certified User Desktop exam that is not specific to a dated version of the software that was released June 2019. We are having great candidate success and feedback with the new version of the exam. The new exam is for any candidate that has been trained in any of the QuickBooks desktop software from 2016 onward.

In January 2018, the MCE exam in English was retired and replaced with a new version that incorporates 21st Century Learning Design as the basis for the Objective Domains. The questions within the exam were completely replaced; however the Exam name and Microsoft Exam number are the same. 

Microsoft Certified Fundamentals

MB-900 was retired in March 2020 and replaced with MB-901. The exams will be similar, but the ODs will be updated and will be different enough that it was necessary to create a new exam title.

MOS 2010 (2020): 

At Certiport, we are committed to helping students and candidates around the globe certifications on current technology. As we launch the new Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019 exams in a given language, the MOS 2010 exam in that language will be retired.
 
The first set of MOS 2010 languages that retired on June 8, 2020 were: 
 

• ENU, ITA, PTB

The following MOS 2010 languages that retired on Dec 14, 2020 were:
 

• NLD, VIE, ELL, DEU, ARA, FRA, KOR

The following languages will be retired on Jan 29, 2021:
 

• ​ CHS, ESM, ICL, THA

Other languages will be retired as the new Office 365 and Office 2019 exams in those language are released. Release dates for each language are available on the exam releases page. 

MOS 2013 (2020): 

The MOS 2013 SharePoint exam was retired on June 30th, 2020.

August 2019:

In June 2019, Microsoft retired the Touch Develop tool, which is an integral part of MTA 98-380 exam: Introduction to Programming using Block-based Languages. Because of this, we retired that exam on August 1, 2019.

 

September 2019:

On September 30th, 2019, Certiport retired the MTA 98-369 exam: Cloud Fundamentals.
