Release Overview
These updates will be made available on Thursday, August 20th, 2026. These updates enhance stability, security, performance, and usability of the system. Users do not need to take any action to receive these updates. Below is the list of improvements:

| Compass Cloud: Remote – Chat improvements |
- When a user moves their cursor over the chat tab, a small message appears to guide them. The message gently tells them, “You can drag this anywhere on the screen.” This helps users understand that the chat is flexible and can be moved around.
- When a new message is received and the chat is collapsed, a visual indicator appears on the chat icon.
- In the Candidate and Group Proctoring UI, the chat window is not accessible using the Tab key. Fixed so that this is not accessible compliant.
- Fixed a bug preventing auto-scroll to the latest message in the chat Window.
- Fixed a bug where chat indicators are not seen from the candidate.
- Fixed a bug where you may become disconnected from chat and will get an error indicating the messaged failed to send.

| Compass Cloud – Outage messaging |
In the event that we need to have a maintenance outage, we can indicate what languages, program and exams will be impacted by the outage. In some cases, we may have all languages impacted and suggest to stay up-to-date on our maintenance outages to limited impact to testing events. If you refresh the Proctor Dashboard page you may get logged out and have to logged back in. Fixed so that a refresh doesn’t log you out. |
| May show invalid message value ‘0’ Hours when booking a session |

Fixed some issues that may lead to a 17650 error message. |
| Proctor may not see all candidates in the list |
Due to some refresh issues, it is possible that the list is not accurate unless refreshing the page. Fixed this issue, so that the candidate list auto-resfreshes appropriately. |
| AutoCAD 2026 may hang or freeze |
Fixed. |
