This year, Cisco Networking Academy has joined forces with Certiport to make a deeper investment in the Skills for All Cybersecurity Learning Pathway by aligning to our Information Technology (IT) Specialist Cybersecurity certification. With this new learning pathway and industry-recognized credential, learners can earn the certification and signal their readiness for roles such as cybersecurity technician, junior cybersecurity analyst, and help desk support.
The IT Specialist Cybersecurity certification, and partnership with Cisco Net Academy, is designed to bridge the widening gap between people who seek meaningful work and employers that are desperate to fill critical jobs in in-demand fields. The IT Specialist Cybersecurity certification prepares workers with today’s cybersecurity skills at a time when cyberthreats are at an all-time high. And the need is expected to grow. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, in just three years’ time, the tech industry predicts 3.5 million cybersecurity jobs will go unfilled while cyberthreats continue unabated.
