Add banner on user assigned voucher	Added banner that indicates that the Test Candidate has the responsibility to join the exam session. If the Test Candidate does not join an hour before they will not be able to take an exam in that session.
New Account Recovery flow	Modernized the account recovery flow to make it more secure.
Dashboard next session area not updating	Fixed an issue that may prevent the next session area from updating as it should.
An Error Occurred on server when using restart VM	The exam appears to be unresponsive within the VM after the proctor tries to restart the VM.
Added/Updated Japanese localizations	Added support for the Japanese (JPN) language.
Start session button not active	On the proctor dashboard, in certain circumstances the “start Session” button was inactive when it should be active.
Invalid 12-hour time	When manually entering the time, it is possible to place an invalid time which would not display an error point to the issue. Fixed so that an error will appear if invalid.
Restarting a VM leaves a Test Candidate hung	If a VM is rebooted the Test Candidate should receive a message indicating what they need to do to reconnect and resume them exam. Fixed so that they receive these instructions.
Need Help button	The need help button is not intended for support if in Japan. Removed side it does not appear in Japan.
NDA was not displaying the localized version appropriately	Fixed to show localized version.

English for IT Transcript Change	Due to the nature of the English for IT exam, results will now show a Pass / Fail / Incomplete instead of a number / score.
Exam Group Reports Updated	Exam Group reports have been refined to remove extraneous information to declutter the customer experience.
CHT on Exam Group Reports	Chinese Traditional Characters are now correctly being rendered on Exam Group report PDF documents.
RTL Display in Account Recovery	The Account Recovery flow was displaying RTL languages in an LTR view. This has been resolved.
Language Consistency	The selected language in Compass will now be carried to Portal when starting the Password Recovery flow from the Score Report page.
CHS Localization Refinement	We have updated some translations for the Chinese Simplified text displayed on Portal.
Bulk Voucher Load Times	CATCs who have thousands of vouchers assigned will no longer have timeout issues when viewing Portal pages that display voucher information.
Student ID Error	An issue preventing users from removing Student IDs from their Certiport profile has been resolved.
Japanese Localization	A missing localization has been added to the ‘Assign a voucher to me’ button on the Test Candidate page.
Certificate Orders with Long Names	Test Candidates with very long names can now successfully order an official certificate.
Acrobat Pro on OnVUE	The Adobe Acrobat Pro exam will now be available via the OnVUE platform.

Cisco Program Registration	A new Cisco Program registration is now available to candidates. It includes an updated flow that will connect your Certiport account with your Cisco account. Candidates will need a unique email address and will need to provide their name using single-byte Latin letters.
New Portal - User Registration	Our updated registration process has been designed to take a few seconds to complete and requires minimal information before creating a Certiport account.
New Portal – Under 13 Parental Approval	Users who are under the age of 13 will now need parental approval before creating a Certiport account.
New Portal – Account Recovery	Users will now need to access their email to complete the account recovery process.
New Portal – Clever SSO	Schools will now be able to connect their Clever account to Certiport and allow their students to complete a single sign on experience with their existing Clever username and password.
Locked Accounts	In a small number of edge cases, it is possible for a Certiport account to become locked. In order for accounts to be unlocked, candidates will need to access their email and complete a password reset.
Adobe Certificates	New Certificates are available for the upcoming Express and Acrobat exams.
Cisco Certificate	A new certificate is available for the upcoming Cisco IT Support exam.
Legacy Portal Modifications	Some fields have been disabled or removed on the Legacy Portal Profile page to align with the update requirements for the New Portal Registration flow.
Microsoft 365 Pathway Certificates	Administrators can now view and print the Microsoft Office Specialist Associate and Microsoft Office Specialist Expert ‘Pathway’ certificates from within Portal.

Early Access Support	We are preparing for an Early Access version of Compass that will allow us to run a live Beta with our customers. This will not yet be available to customers, but you might start to notice a few new settings and options on various screens.
Account Recovery	A new account recovery has been designed for Compass that has special considerations for users who may be in a restricted exam environment and cannot access their email. This process will lock a Certiport account. Users can unlock their account by changing their password on Portal.
Enhanced Accessibility – Exam Groups & Vouchers	Changes were made to ensure that toggles clearly indicate their state change immediately when using a screen reader.
Enhanced Accessibility – Score Report	Changes were made to ensure that all buttons on the Score Report page that is shown at the end of an exam are communicated accurately.
Got Error from Server on System Check Page	In some cases, users were seeing a “Got error from server” error when Compass was not able to detect and display the correct Microsoft Office version. This has now been fixed.
Compass Version Retirement	The following versions of Compass have reached their end of life and are no longer supported: 19.0.2.907 19.0.2.1095 19.0.2.1158

Mobile: Close button may be out of the banner	On some mobile devices, the outage message that appears may be difficult to close as it is pushed out of the message banner.
Added a note on the exam details page	To reduce confusion, the following note was added to the exam details page: “Note: User assigned vouchers do not require you to enter the number of candidates. A maximum of 50 candidates per exam session.“
Candidate ready for exam may be inaccurate	It may say 0/1 candidates are ready although 1/1 are available.
Login page briefly appears when coming from Portal	The login screen briefly appears when coming from Certiport.com and already authenticated. This was a cosmetic issue and didn’t prevent the user from logging in.
User can attempt to start a second exam and get stuck	We are now preventing the candidate from attempting to start a second exam. Instead they will get a message that says “Your exam is complete. You may not start or reenter your exam with this access code.”
Mobile: SLA notification takes up the entire page	Redesigned the message to be more mobile friendly.
Start session link in banner doesn’t work	When clicking the “Start session” link in the banner from the Dashboard, it doesn’t start the session.
Candidates unable to resume exam session after 30 minutes	If the candidate had an issue during the exam and it was 30 minutes after the exam started, they may not be able to resume the exam and would display an error message on the Access Code validation page.

Config Exams & Exam Previews	Compass is now setup and ready to handle Config Exams and Exam Previews. These will be published over time by our Content teams. Config Exams will allow Organization Administrators to validate their Compass setup without using Proctors. Exam Previews will allow candidates to experience the Exam Flow without needing product, payment, or a Proctor.
Early Access Opt-In	A new setting has been added to Compass in preparation for an upcoming Feature – Early Access. This will allow us to run Beta testing on new Compass features. (The button is present but currently non-operational.)

These updates were made available on Thursday, March 28th, 2024. This monthly maintenance release includes some minor improvements to the system, bug fixes, and performance issues. No action will need to be taken by the user to receive these updates. The following items were released:

CATC w/ no Payment option	CATC’s were required to have a payment option available to schedule an exam session. This feature allows a CATC to select the “User assigned voucher” payment method which doesn’t require the center to have any other form of payment. Candidates will need to associate their voucher to this session by logging into Certiport.com and locating the user assigned voucher and then connecting it to the exam session by using the Access code provided by the exam session creator or proctor.
Mobile support improvements	Continue to make it easier to use a mobile device to schedule, manage and group proctor sessions.
Display appropriate message when site license isn’t accepted	Displayed appropriate message.
Update email content	We’ve noticed that some customers are overbooking their sessions and have updated the email to indicate that they should only book for as many candidates that they expect to be in that session. Please edit the session and remove additional seats before the session starts. This will help keep costs low so we can continue to provide this solution without additional fees.
Display date in localized language	To make it easier for our global customers, we have localized the date when scheduling an exam session, as well as adding it to the email localized.
Display appropriate message when payment isn’t available	If there isn’t sufficient payment display an intuitive message to the user.
Time field is enabled, but should be locked	Fixed.
CHT Autodesk 2022 maintenance	Fixed.
Updated Compass Cloud icon & name in program uninstall area	Fixed.
While editing a session you may get a system error message	Fixed.
Display Autodesk version correctly in the UI	Fixed.

These updates were made available on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024. This monthly maintenance release includes some minor improvements to the system, bug fixes, and performance issues. No action will need to be taken by the user to receive these updates. The following items were released:

Updated Emails with localized strings	Updated new strings in the exam session notification update and confirm emails that are sent out to the session creator.
Preferred language	When scheduling an exam session, the language will be set to the user preferred language setting in Portal.
Updated emails	Added the following verbiage to the notifications emails sent: “Exams in Session: Number of candidates must be accurate.” It is very important to select the correct number of candidates per session. Charges may apply if sessions are left unattended.

Add Test Center ID to scheduling	The Test Center ID has been added to the scheduling tool, to make it easier to identify the correct center.
Review page may display the wrong time	It’s possible that the review page displays the wrong time. This issue has been fixed.
Time zone field may not clear properly	If you change the test center, the time zone field was not clearing properly. This issue has been fixed.

OnVUE Results in Exam Groups	Users will no longer be provided with a link to add an exam group to results achieved via OnVUE.
English Language Learning Products	A new ELL Program tab has been added to the CATC Purchase pages of Portal.

Track Session Create Times	The time an EFH session was created is now logged to provide more detailed reporting.
Incorrect Font on Candidate App	Font styling has been corrected on the EFH Candidate log in screen.
Proctor Error “Unable to retrieve full list of candidates in the session.”	This error has been fixed and Proctors will no longer receive this message but will see all of the candidates in their session.
Lab Monitor accesses Candidate Exam records	Lab Monitor is now able to access Candidate Exam records to provide a more accurate reflection on which part of the exam flow each candidate is experiencing.
Lab Monitor Notifications	Alerts are now sent if Lab Monitor is not responsive or takes an unusually long time to respond.
