Release Overview

Exams from Home (EFH) Update Information:

These updates were made available on Monday, April 22nd, 2024. This was a minor maintenance release that addressed some stability and performance issues. No action will need to be taken by the user to receive these updates. Additionally, the following items were released:

**EFH Release Details**
Titletype	Release Notes
Improved error messaging	Generic messaging would appear causing user confusion. Added improved messaging if the following conditions are met: CATC requires student ID, but candidate has not provided. CATC requires an exam group, but there isn’t one associated. Assigned Voucher isn’t valid for an exam. Attempted to many exam restarts (5 allowed) No inventory or site licenses available Program is not active for CATC Teacher is not designated Exam Group Retake Policy violations: too many attempts, only passed exams can be retaken, second attempt before the time allotted for that exam.
Add additional logging	To improve the overall performance and stability of the system, we are continually adding additional logging that will help identify issues that are difficult to recreate.

Compass Cloud Update: April 18th, 2024

Release Overview

Compass Cloud Update Information:

Compass Cloud officially launched on April 4th! See the Blog post.

These updates were made available on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. This was a minor maintenance release that addressed some stability and performance issues. No action will need to be taken by the user to receive these updates. Additionally, the following items were released:

Access code no longer active	Fixed an issue where it may display that the access code is inactive, when it should be active.
AM/PM button	Fixed an issue where the AM/PM button when scheduling the time was confusing users.
Updated translations	Updated translations so that error messaging is more clear (ALL Languages).
The 'need help' button is not working in the Proctor UI	Fixed.

Compass UI/UX Update: April 17th, 2024

Compass UI/UX Update Information:

These updates to the Compass UI/UX (CPWeb) will be made available on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. They will not require any action by the end user to receive them.

Account Recovery Flow	Back-end work has been completed in Compass to help align with the improved Registration process that will be the next part of our updated Portal experience!
Update to .Net 8	Our Compass UI backend has been updated to .Net 8. This update will allow us to be more responsive with future feature additions while improving security and performance now.

Portal Update: April 17th, 2024

Release Overview

Portal Update Information:

These updates were made available on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. They will not require any action by the end user to receive them. Portal comprises the authenticated (logged in) areas of www.certiport.com. This update includes performance enhancements and some bug fixes.

Clever Login Not Functional	A defect preventing the Clever login page from being displayed has been resolved.
Exam Results Access	A defect preventing administrators from accessing Exam Group results from their Exam Groups has been fixed.
PDFs Not Displaying	A font version issue that was preventing PDFs from being displayed has been resolved and the PDFs now show correctly.

Compass Local Update: February 21, 2024

Release Overview

Compass for Windows version 19.0.2.1322 Update Information:

This update were made available in all languages on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. This update is a routine update that includes performance enhancements, security updates and some bug fixes.

**Compass Local Release Details**
Titletype	Release Notes
Secure Browser Update	A new secure browser has been released and must be updated before an exam is launched. This will happen automatically in the background when Compass is launched.
Update Time Fixed	The time listed as ‘Next Update’ on the Compass Admin home screen has been fixed to show the correct time in all instances.
Config Exam Updates	In some cases, our Microsoft Office Specialist configuration exams were not being updated prior to a user launching them. This has now been corrected and the latest version of the configuration exam will now be launched.
New Compass Logo	A new Compass logo has been released. This will replace the icon in all locations – Desktop Icon, Application Icon, Loading icon.

Compass for Mac:

There are no updates for Compass for Mac at this time.
