Teaching ESB–A Resource Guide for the Classroom

EntreEd, The National consortium for Entrepreneurs Education

Certiport and the National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education (Entre-Ed) have partnered to create a professional development program to help teachers who leverage the Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) certification in their classroom. Teaching ESB–a Resource Guide for the Classroom, it is a module-based course designed explicitly for teachers, to help them empower students and cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets to demonstrate essential concepts surrounding entrepreneurship and business management.

The comprehensive course will contain six modules that cover the objective domains of the ESB certification while providing examples and ideas that can be integrated into your curriculum and classroom. It's easy to use and will provide examples that encourage experiential projects that can be used as-is or easily adapted to fit specific lesson plans.

The course will consist of six modules, each taking one to two hours to complete while providing additional resources for those looking to take a deeper dive. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion for twelve hours spent on the course that can be used toward professional development hours as required by the various districts and school boards.

The course is available a la carte and will be included in certain ESB licenses (excluding Florida Universal license). Contact your Certiport Sales Representative for more information or click on the button below, fill out the form, marking ESB as your area of interest, and a representative will reach out to you.
