Luckily Certiport has partnered with MeasureUp to help you prepare your students for their PMI Project Management Ready exams. With these practice tests, you can assess students’ understanding of the concepts you cover in class.
Who Is MeasureUp?
Since 1997, MeasureUp is the leading provider of certification practice tests and assessments for IT professionals. The MeasureUp solution provides the necessary tools to reinforce learning and validate knowledge for students, instructors, and clients of hundreds of corporations, career colleges, and technical training facilities worldwide.
MeasureUp practice tests have been recognized for their innovative use of simulation question types, comprehensive explanations, complete coverage of exam objectives, multiple delivery mode, and in-depth reporting. MeasureUp assessments are used for training, job placement, and proving knowledge retention.
How Are the Practice Tests Structured?
MeasureUp practice tests are mapped to the PMI Project Management Ready certification exam objectives, meaning students have everything they need to know to pass their certification exam. MeasureUp’s interface simplifies access to practice tests and makes it easier to review history and scores and monitor your overall progress. Students can also utilize the three different modes: Custom, Practice, and Certification.
The Custom Mode allows students to specify their preferred testing environment. Students can create a tailored assessment using a mix of different tests with the ability to change the passing score and time limit among other parameters. The Practice Mode offers many options allowing the student to customize their practice test experience each time. The questions in Practice Mode will cover all objectives in similar format and style to the exam. Students will also have access to questions, answers, explanations, and reference materials. The Certification Mode simulates a timed exam environment and prepares students for exam-taking conditions to confirm readiness.
How Do I Ensure I Use the Practice Tests Effectively?
The MeasureUp team recommends a four-step approach to utilizing the PMI Project Management Ready practice tests effectively.
- Ensure students start with the practice test in Practice Mode. Here they can, as mentioned above, access questions, answers, explanations, and reference materials. Make sure they use the links and additional learning materials to maximize study effectiveness.
- After completing their practice test, refer them to their score report to identify knowledge areas that need more focus.
- Refine their experience in Practice Mode by customizing domain objectives and/or selecting missed questions.
- Determine overall exam readiness. After they score several passing grades in Practice Mode, students may take the practice test using the Certification mode — this is the closest experience to the exam. When they achieve a score of 90%+ in Certification Mode at least twice consecutively, they are exam ready!
