What Learning Product is best for me and my students?
GMetrix
GMetrix currently aligns with our ACA , MOS, MTA, MTC, MCE , Apple, Autodesk, Communication Skills for Business, EC-Council, Entrepreneurship and Small Business, IC3, Unity and QuickBooks certifications. GMetrix will also work on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks, making it easy for any student to use at home. We are also excited that browser-based GMetrix practice tests for Microsoft Office Specialist, Autodesk Certified User, and Adobe Certified Associate certifications will be available later this fall.

LearnKey
LearnKey aligns with our ACA certifications, CSB certification, ESB certification, IC3 certifications, MOS certifications, MTA certifications, MTC certifications, and QuickBooks certifications. You can also use it on a PC, Mac, or Chromebook.
Exercise labs, projects, and post assessments require installation of the software and GMetrix SMS. Lab simulations, usable on Chromebooks, are available for MOS 365/2019, ACA CC 2018/2019/2020 courses, and ACU CAD, Revit, and Inventor courses. For Autodesk courses, only the projects require the software. QuickBooks simulation labs are available, and only the projects require the software. IC3 simulation labs are available, with some projects in Key Applications. Student Workbooks have templates that will require the software. MTA, MTC, CSB, and ESB include all simulation labs.

Jasperactive
Jasperactive aligns with IC3 certifications and MOS certifications. You can use and access the IC3 Digital Literacy courses it on any computer type as well, PC, Mac, Chromebook, or mobile device. Keep in mind though, the MOS course requires access to the Microsoft Office suite (2016, 2019, or O365) and is available only on a PC.

Brain Buffet
Brain Buffet is aligned to our ACA and MOS certifications. You can access Brain Buffet from a PC, Mac, or Chromebook. Courses are available via Chromebooks. However, only the video and quizzes are available. Project resources and enrichment exercises require installation of the software.
Moore Solutions
Moore Solutions is aligned to the ACA certifications, ESB certification, IC3 certifications, MOS certifications, and MTA certifications. Moore Solutions is fully functional on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks. Learn more about Moore Solutions here.
Pearson
Pearson has learning materials aligned to ACA certifications, ACU certifications, ESB certifications, IC3 certifications, MOS certifications, and MTA certifications. Pearson functions on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks. MTA courses are available on all devices. The Adobe course videos and quizzes are available on Chromebooks, but project resources and enrichment exercises require software installation. The MOS e-course is only supported on a PC.
TeachMe3D
TeachMe3D is a program built exclusively for the ACU certification. TeachMe3D is functional on any PC, Mac, or Chromebook. Courses are available via Chromebooks. However, only the videos and workbooks are available. Projects and activities require installation of the software. You can learn all about TeachMe3D’s capabilities here.
CAD Learning
Like TeachMe3D, CAD Learning is aligned exclusively with ACU certification. It is functional on PCs and Chromebooks but is not currently functional on Macs. Courses are available via Chromebooks. Unity
Unity learning programs are built exclusively for the Unity Certified User certifications. Unity functions on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks. Courses are available via Chromebooks. However, projects and some activities require software.
Code Avengers
Code Avengers is aligned with our MTA certifications. Code Avengers functions on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks. You can see all the answers to your questions about Code Avengers here.
EC-Council
EC-Council, like Unity’s learning programs, is built to align with the EC-Council certifications. The program works on any PCs, Mac, and Chromebook.
Teknimedia
Teknimedia is built to prepare students for the IC3 certifications. Teknimedia functions on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks.
Measure-Up
Measure-Up aligns with our Microsoft certifications: MOS, MTA, and MTC. It is fully operational on PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks. However, MOS live-in-the-app (LITA) practice tests are only supported on PC with the appropriate software. MTA and MTC practice tests can be delivered on PC, Mac, and Chromebooks.
How do I get software for my students to use at home?
Because some learning products require software, it’s important to know how and if your students have access at home. Depending on which program you teach, your students can get access to the applications at no cost to them or the school.
Office 365 for Students and Educators
Students and educators at eligible institutions can sign up for Office 365 Education for free, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools. All you need is a valid school email address. It’s not a trial – so get started today here.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe supports deploying Creative Cloud in a virtualized environment with Named User Licensing. Speak with your Adobe rep or reseller about purchasing Named User Licensing, which gives students full access to Creative Cloud wherever they are. For those that already have Named User Licensing, helpx.adobe.com has great resources for getting started. Search for “Best practices for Creative Cloud deployment on VDI.”
Autodesk
Autodesk has granted access to our tools to students and educators for the past five years with no charge. This remains unchanged. Get yours here.
