More than 85,000 entrants between the ages of 13 and 22 qualified for the ACA U.S. National Championship by earning an ACA certification in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign. Certified students entered original design creations and 13 were selected to compete at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista hotel.

Finalists were given 6 hours to create a design project for Limbitless Solutions, who also served as judges for the competition.

“We were proud to be the client for the ACA U.S. National Championship and the projects were very impressive,” said Matt Dombrowski, Art Director, Limbitless Solutions. “We asked them to create a design we could use in a marketing campaign to promote an original Limbitless Solutions game, Limbitless Runner, and we couldn’t believe the quality of the designs they created in such a short amount of time.”

The winners will now advance to the ACA World Championship from July 28 – 31 in New York City, NY. Finalists are expected to come from more than 20 countries to demonstrate their proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud.

“The ACA U.S. and World Championships give students the incredible opportunity to test their creative and technical skills by designing for a real-world client,” said Tacy Trowbridge, Global Education Programs Lead at Adobe. “We were impressed by what the U.S. Champions were able to create in such a short amount of time. We look forward to meeting them and the other competitors at the ACA World Championship.”
